I am always looking to support others and give back to my community.

"SOS for Youth is a non-profit youth performance troupe with a strong message and a community outreach mission to support teens in making good life choices." During my time at SOS, I worked as an intern, troupe leader, and actor performing in communities throughout the Mid-West. Using our performances as a communication tool we have inspired and supported countless students to find their voices and make good choices.

I volunteer with the Park City School district (Park City, Utah) in their PCCAPS program where I mentor a team of students: I guide them to experiment with and write mock content for a mobile game and advise them on their final project for the program. My goal is to familiarize the students with game development, industry structure and provide them practical experience for a strong resume ingredient. I act as a mentor for the students as I cultivate their interest in the industry and put them on a path to success.

A high school passion for theater has stuck with me. My favorite part of theater is improv (improvisation) which I believe to be a valuable life skill. I teach improv classes with Big Brothers Big Sisters in their mentorship program. My responsibility is to inspire, be a role model, educate and provide a fun activity. Teaching a valuable life skill and building self-esteem is my ultimate goal for the kids.
